How Heroin Is Used In Other Films

Trainspotting - Heroin Scene - relevant from 0.50 - 2.20(video not working)

This scene of the film Trainspotting shows how the character injects himself with heroin. This scene is helping me to create a realistic heroin scene for my opening sequence because by watching this scene I have seen how the character uses a belt to make his vein more easily available to inject the heroin. Also, his body language while injecting himself with the heroin can be used in my opening sequence as it can show how a heroin addicts feels and how they portray their pain throughout the whole prcoess.

Treatment

Lauren a 20 year old woman has been addicted to drugs ever since the age of 15, to a bad upbringing at childhood.She became pregnant at the age of 18 after being forced to have a sexual encounter with an older man who was blackmailing her because of her vulnerablilty.
At age of 20 she suffered the loss of her 2 year old daughter ho acidently drowned in the local park river, lauren at this time was still on drugs and blamed herself for not paying attention to her 2 year old who run out of sight without the assistance of her mother resulting her to falling into the river.
After ther death of her child she fell into deep depression and became more obsessive with taking drugs, she began to self harm herself and began to suffer from epileptic fits frequently.To help her condition she turned to rehab for help but after a number of attempts she gave up trying and went back to her old habit.
'This brings us to our opening sequence'
We see the silloouhette of lauren who has collapsed due to an overdose on drugs, she is clutching her arm which has been tied with a belt where she has been injecting herself.
On the table next to her lies all her late daughters toys that she has been reminisicng on, however in contrast to this next to the toys lies the lines of cocaine that she has been sniffing.
On the wall next to her hangs the pictures of her child made into a collage of rememberance.

Main Idea

                                                        Main Story Idea

There is a normal family a father John, the mother Sarah, and the daughter Emily. They lived together in North London Islington. The father owned an bussiness and they were quite rich, but then they had money problems, and the father borrowed money from some Russians.

The Rusains wanted there money back 3 months after but John couldnt pay them back, these Russaians are violent mobsters and John was in big trouble.

After giving him a certain amount of time, and many lies from John they threatened to kill him, and John didnt have the money, so he told his family he was going to run away. So he did, thinking they would chase after him, but Russians dont run. A couple days later they  came to the house in the night and kidnapped Emily, they were pissed off after Sarah and John messed them around. Sarah called the police and they for her, they found her in the river thames with a note saying "Pay your debts, bye bye Emily". There was know evidence to pin it on thr Russians thay are smart. ThE CASE WAS DROPPED 1 month later.

The mother bagan to turn insane she locked herself in an abandoned factory with pictures of her precious daughter Emily. She has been there for 3weeks without eating or drinking, she looks completely messed. The police have been looking for her for about 1 week but when they found her she was hanging from the sealing dead. The husband found out his wife and daughter was dead and he commited suicide too.

My specific piece which is going to be exicuted is the factory scene. We will see light comming through a samll gap then see some pictures or Emily then we see the mother on the floor. (easier to explain ).

Within this there will be close ups on the mother and the pictures of the daughter. A pan shot of the light comming through the window.

The Russian Men
